Before becoming the home of Tabby House Brewing, the Adam Strain Building was used for a variety of purposes. As one of only two local structures to survive the burning of Darien during the Civil War, the building offers guests a glimpse into the city's historic past.
Skippers' Fish Camp
Skippers' serves some of the best fresh local seafood in all of south Georgia and is directly behind the Darien Dockside Inn. Enjoy waterfront dining in a casual atmosphere on the Darien River. The Canopy
The Canopy Restaurant is located in the elegantly restored Brown House. Built circa 1875, the building is situated in the heart of Historic Darien, just a 5-minute walk from the inn.
They Canopy's fresh-from-scratch fare and quaint, Folk Victorian atmosphere is the perfect setting for a delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Mudcat Charlie's
Mudcat Charlie's gives guests the opportunity to dine on an open deck at the waters edge. Its delicious menu includes hamburgers, sandwiches, and of course, seafood. Blue crabs can be bought by the dozen! Located at Two Way Fish Camp just 4 miles from Darien Dockside Inn, it's a great place to enjoy a peaceful meal.
The Fish Dock Bar & Grill
The Fish Dock Bar & Grill uses only the highest-quality seafood that comes right from their docks. With fresh snapper, grouper, daily-harvested littleneck clams, and local oysters in season, your biggest challenge will be deciding which to try first!
Blue Bay Mexican Grill
Blue Bay Mexican Grill serves delicious and authentic Mexican food with a southern flair. Guests enjoy great dishes, drinks, and an inviting atmosphere. It's also located right across the street from the inn.
