Things to know before you stay...

CHECK IN: From 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm | CHECK OUT: 10:00 am weekdays, 11:00am weekends.


If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.


We are a keyless entry facility, once you book online you will receive a confirmation email. You will then receive another email the day before check in with check in instructions and the code to the lobby door and instructions to check in. We change these room codes after every stay.

SMOKING: No smoking in rooms or lobby area.

CHILDREN: We only accept well behaved children as our inn is designed more as a retreat.

PET POLICY: We no longer allow pets as other guest have ruined this experience for other pet owners.

RATES: Our rates are $130 to $160 single/double occupancy.

Our rooms are set up to accommodate 2 adults, additional guests are $20.00 per guest.


CREDIT CARD PROCESSING:

  • Your card will be charged the day of check in.
  • Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.
  • At the time of booking, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Applies to: all reservations.

CANCELLATIONS: The Darien Dockside Inn is a small property with six guest rooms where every reservation is important to us.

If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 72 hours prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation for a full refund.

PARKING: You may park in front of the inn on the white gravel as well as the parking spots in downtown. If you have a trailer or boat you can park down the hill in Skippers parking lot in the Boat/trailer parking spaces.

  • DIRECTIONS FROM I-95

    From the North: Take exit 49 (Darien) – at top of ramp turn LEFT and travel approximately 1 mile – Bear RIGHT onto US HWY 17S – Travel 1.5 miles and take the last right before the bridge (Friendly Express gas station is on the corner) – follow main street one block to the stop sign and you will see the Inn directly ahead.


    From the South: Take exit 42 – Take a RIGHT at top of ramp – travel approximately 1 mile and turn LEFT onto US HWY 17N. In about 4.5 miles you will cross the Darien River Bridge and you will see our town ahead of you. Take the first left off the bridge (Friendly Express gas station is on the corner) – follow main street one block to the stop sign and you will see the Inn directly ahead.
